"Heart to Heart"

First Church Lay Ministry
of Caring and Compassion

A program of our congregation that equips lay persons to provide Christian one to one care for those who are home bound or in care facilities.

Our Mission Statement

That no one in the Body of Christ goes unnoticed, uncared for, or unloved. God has gifted many people among us with wonderful spiritual gifts.  "Heart to Heart" is designed to equip persons for a ministry of caring and nurturing in their service to God and the church.  Those who are gifted and willing, will provide care for people in need of prayer, time, and loving attention. This will be a model by which our congregation serves our community in God’s mercy, love, and grace.

Our "Heart to Heart" team is designed to multiply our Christian care-giving and outreach.  Working together with our ordained pastors, we will touch far more lives with Christian care than our clergy staff could possibly reach by themselves.

Contact this person if you, or someone you know, would benefit from a visit from "Heart to Heart." We also welcome new team members. Call to find out how you can be part of this important ministry of First Church.:
